Banner Downtime

Banner Unavailable During Spring Break

As you know we have been testing Banner 8 for the last three weeks. We have had issues that arose, but they have been addressed. We will start the upgrade on Saturday (3-20) and be done prior to Monday (3-29). Banner and Banner Self Service will be unavailable during this time. While I realize that this is a long period of time, our database alone will take three days to convert to the new format. This has to be done before we can start the actual upgrade process.

Thank you all for logging in and testing Banner and working with us on the issues – without your help we would have had to fix problems after spring break prior to registration. We do anticipate minor annoyances the week after spring break similar to our upgrade to Office 2007. However, we will work together to minimize any pain you experience.
