Jefferson Davis Campus to present “Greater Tuna” in February

The production will run Feb. 18-22 in the Arena Theatre on the Gulfport campus.

A whole town is hilariously represented by a cast of two in the upcoming theatre production “Greater Tuna” at the Jefferson Davis Campus of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. The Jefferson Davis Players will present the musical as their spring production in the Arena Theatre Feb. 18-21, with an 8 o’clock curtain each evening, and on Feb. 22, a matinee production set for 2 p.m. Ryan Pierini, theatre instructor at the Jefferson Davis Campus, is directing the production.

In this off-Broadway hit, two actors (Jordan West and Wesley Sykes) create the entire population of Tuna in a “tour de farce” of quick-change artistry, both of costumes and of comic characterizations.

Admission is $5 general, $3 student. For ticket information or reservations, call 228-897-3931.
