MGCCC Perkinston Campus to present “Grease” in February
Actors Trae Spears and Morgan O’Neal play Danny and Sandy in the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College’s production of “Grease.” The Perkinston Campus Fine Arts Department will present the musical as its spring production Feb. 17-20, with a 7 o’clock curtain each night in Malone Hall Auditorium. Daisha Walker, speech and theatre instructor at the Perkinston Campus, is directing the production.
“Grease” is the word at the Perkinston Campus of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. The campus Fine Arts Department will present the musical as its spring production Feb. 17-20, with a 7 o’clock curtain each night in Malone Hall Auditorium. Daisha Walker, speech and theatre instructor at the Perkinston Campus, is directing the production.
“Grease,” which contains mature situations, features Rydell High’s class of 1959. Walker said, “It’s a rollicking and fun 1950s rock ‘n’ roll musical. Sandy, Danny, Rizzo, Kenickie, the T-Birds and the Pink Ladies will all entertain us with the songs and dances of the 50s we have come to love.”
