

Thirteen technology programs at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College have received accreditation from the National Association of Industrial Technology (NAIT). This two-year accreditation is effective through 2010.
NAIT accreditation ensures that the institution has met a series of standards to provide industry with highly competent employees. The two-year technical programs that received NAIT accreditation at Gulf Coast include Computer Networking Technology, Computer Programming Technology, Computer Servicing Technology, Construction Management Technology, Database Administration Technology, Drafting and Design Technology, Electronics Technology, Golf Turf/Recreational Management Technology, Graphic Design Technology, Network Security Technology, Telecommunications Technology, Petrochemical Refining Technology and Web Development Technology.

Founded in 1967, NAIT is recognized as the premiere professional association responsible for the accreditation of industrial-technology programs and the certification of industrial technologists. Institutions that earn accreditation from NAIT confirm their commitment to quality and continuous improvement through a rigorous and comprehensive review process.
