The Fine Arts Department at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College’s Perkinston Campus will hold vocal-scholarship auditions on Monday, March 8, 4–6 p.m. in the Choral Room at Malone Hall. Students will be able to audition for Mississippi Sound, the Perkinston Campus show choir, at the same time.
Students auditioning for the scholarship must sing a prepared piece (CD or tape accompaniment allowed) and sing a voice part (soprano, alto, tenor, or bass) on a song selection chosen by the director. Those auditioning for Mississippi Sound must also practice and audition, with choreography taught to them at the audition.
