The Computer Programming Technology curricula are designed as a
two-year program of study to prepare the student for entry-level employment in
computer programming or network support.
The Computer Programming Option offers training in application development on
microcomputers and mid-range computers. Emphasis is placed on mid-range
computers. An Associate of Applied Science degree is earned upon
successful completion of the computer programming curriculum. Successful
completion of the first year entitles a student to receive a certificate of
completion in Computer Operations.
The Associate of Applied Science degree received upon successful completion of
this concentration is not designed for transfer to a senior college or
university. It is designed for immediate employment preparation.
